This week pupils fully embraced British Science week, with a huge range of activities available for each year group.

Key Stage 3 participated in a workshop with medical mavericks. They got to try out various medical equipment while also learning about themselves.

Key Stage 4 took part in a range of science experiments. There were special guests who came to support during this week of science, including a 4th year medical student – Guilia Olayemi – who gave career advice to Year 11 students, as well as providing revision techniques and tips that will help them prepare for the upcoming GCSE exams.

We also had a music producer, TSB, come to the school and students engaged in a beat breakdown session which explored the concept of science in music. 

Students were awarded trophies and medals throughout the week based on how well they engaged with the events throughout the week.
