Year 7 students emerged victorious after a titanic struggle at this year’s Royal Borough Greenwich Literature Quiz.

The quiz is an annual event which sees teams of four students come together to face a wide range of literary brain teasers.

As last year’s winners, Eltham Hill School were our gracious hosts, while the questions were posed by the borough’s English & Literacy Advisor, Lizzie Church.

RGTS’ victorious team were Bolu, Dorothy-Mae, Emily and Sonela. The girls are thrilled to have won the trophy for 2023, the first time in RGTS’s history!

The team worked extremely hard to achieve a magnificent result in a hugely competitive competition.

Adam Baron, the author of several successful novels presented the trophy to the team, and they received a signed copy of his book.
